Button-O-matic Fudge Factory Comics Artist

Button-O-matic Fudge Factory Comics Artist

Busy Beaver is delighted to have a Button-O-matic designed by Fudge Factory Comics superman Travis Millard.  His inspiration for the Currency button series came from a delicious moment:

Not long after Upso invited me to contribute a button, i wandered into a convenience store and saw a sign by the register. i wondered how it would apply if i had a sign like that. Then i bought my nacho cheese chili dog and a button was born.

You can collect the Travis Millard button from the vending machine closest to you.  It’s a limited edition of 100 gold pins spread throughout the country!

"The drawings themselves have become a form of commodity so I stuck with one of my small intricate dots drawn in gel pen for the image." ---Geoffrey Todd Smith

Geoffrey Todd Smith makes intricate paintings with colorful round shapes that are every button-makers dream.  Considered one of Chicago’s most collectible artists by Chicago Magazine, his design is available in limited edition gold and nickel plated buttons starting in August.  Smith writes:

I have been thinking for a long time about various ways to make my work accessible to people who can’t afford a painting or a drawing. Since the theme for this series of buttons was currency, it seemed like a perfect fit.

BusyBeaver is delighted to include Geoffrey Todd Smith in the GOLD Button-O-matic Series Ten.  Click here for the vending machine location nearest you.
