The Staplegator, known in the Southwest as caimán de grapa, is an elusive and mysterious creature. He emerges each March to feed on comics, custom buttons, zines, and more in the vicinity of Austin, TX.

Brian Butler hooked up photos from The Ice Cream People project exhibit opening at Kid Robot in Miami, an ongoing collaborative initiative to prove the existence of the Ice Cream Person.

You may also remember Brian Butler from his Scary BOOton, and you see his skills shine again with the custom button packs (complete with ice cream spoons) for the recent ICP show.

Almost two hundred people charged up their glow-in-the-dark Scary BOOtons at Pancho’s on Saturday with entertainment provided by local bands Pink Torpedo, Loose Dudes, and White Mystery.  Special thanks to MPShows for their help too!
