Great designs!
Someone recently dug up and made a collage video of 750 covers from my old zine collection from 77-82 – many printed at Better Badges – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jYQ2dTLeO0
Both zines and buttons are part and parcel of peer to peer activity. I often, back then, used to point out the difference – one could print tens of buttons on one sheet, but one had to print tens of sheets to make one fanzine, yet they sold for the same price! Thus I thought it natural for buttons to subsidize zines.
Just saw this through the blog feed: What Are the Zines That Changed Your Life? (http://tinyurl.com/4flnpjh). Thought you might be interested, Joly!
Oddly enough I just ended up there myself, and came back to copy the above comment to that too!
