“Founded in Chicago in 1906, Green Duck created many of the most iconic buttons, clickers, and other giveaways that have defined American culture,” writes Gene Gable in a feature about the historic button-maker.
While Green Duck closed its doors in 2004, its legacy persists in the custom buttons it produced for WWII soldiers, Beatles Fan Clubs, presidential campaigns, and twentieth-century pop culture.
